Hart was one of the players who perform consistently City last season and led them to lock the automatic ticket to Europe after finishing third in the Premier League final standings.
"What happened at Manchester City has given me great confidence," he said.
"We've achieved some fantastic things this season. We know how hard our job to continue. But the situation is, we could have won more, and it makes it more interesting next season."
"I can not wait to see how big the Champions League will improve my appearance. Jump to qualify for the tournament, rather than go through qualifying, is a great thing," he continued.
"Now we must prepare properly. This will be a big test for us. The Champions League is a football man."
