Redknapp: 27 Million Pound Too Cheap For Modric!

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp called Chelsea's last offer worth 27 million pounds for Luka Modric is still too low than the actual value of the Croatian midfielder.
The Blues reportedly willing to raise their offer of 5 million pounds higher than the initial values they propose, but the stronghold of the Spurs confirm if the player they would never escape - except with much higher bid.

"We certainly do not want to sell it," Redknapp said on Sky Sports News.

"I still feel 27 million pounds is a very pathetic bid for the player with that capability. It was very low, not at all approaching the value of the stakes if I want to sell it, but it is not for sale. Chairman, we have confirmed his position, enough."

When asked whether the club's decision would change if the bid for Modric reach a value of 30 million pounds, Redknapp insisted: "I do not think so."

"Honestly I appreciate it very, very far beyond that. Even if they offer worth it, our chairman has said he is not for sale."

"He will fly with us to South Africa (for pre-season). He was the last kid in the world that will cause problems. He had no talent to be evil, he is a good boy."

"I've come across a player who wanted to leave and will create problems, but it's not in character. He was not a trouble maker in any form. It comes, training well. That's him," said Redknapp.

"He will do its job and we'll see what happens. We really do not want to lose him, because he was a key player for us
